Nowadays, there are hardly any products where plastic is not needed for manufacturing, despatch or consumption. In addition to high quality and long-lived moulded parts, disposable items are also made from plastic. The need for new plastics is increasing exponentially, as the change from steel and wood to plastics is made ever more frequently for weight and durability reasons. Large chemical companies are engaged in the production of plastic granulates in every conceivable colour as the starting material for injection moulding manufacture. Here, our knives are used both for granulating new plastics and for crushing plastic waste in accompanying mills for manufacturing plastic parts.
