Good old-fashioned chipboard is probably not only the oldest of wood materials, but also still enjoys unbroken familiarity and popularity today. The glued chips, which form a multi-layer structure in a variety of sizes, provide their stability simultaneously with manageable weight and easy processing. Not only sawmill by-products, but also forest and used timber are used in chipboard manufacture. Before the wood is cut into chips, however, it still has to be crushed in choppers – and it is precisely at this point that our durable choppers and counterknives have been used for many decades.
